· Packs correct number of parts into prescribed carton
· Places identification label on full skids, and may be required to take full skid to its proper storage area
· Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies. Responsible for cleanliness of work station, machine appearance, and floor surrounding the work station
· Sets aside parts that do not meet specifications
· Regrinds or disposes of scrap
· Prepares necessary paperwork
· Responsible for filling out In-Process Inspection Card and assuring process is running acceptable quality level parts
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be able to stand for the full shift. Sitting may be allowed in some cases in hold area, re-work area, or pre-approved work area - this will be approved by EHS and Senior Production Manager only. There may be some bending.
· Mental alertness to change in quality of product, and to call for assistance when needed
· Ability to keep up with a moderate-speed conveyor line
· Manual dexterity required
· Ability to lift 35 pounds infrequently

JOB FUNCTION:
Pulls orders accurately and prepares orders for prompt shipment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Moves mass production parts from final audit to designated finished goods location
• Takes parts from finished goods inventory to staging area per pick list
• Scans and checks prepared parts
• Uses tow motors and hand carts to move and load parts
• Notifies supervisor of shortage of parts
• Packages and/or wraps orders
• Load and unload trailers and put away empty containers
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• May perform duties of other associates in the department in their absence

Kamco, an OEM for the auto industry, and state-of-the-art plastic processing facility located in West Unity, Ohio, is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Injection Molding Die Setter/Tool Setup. Candidate must have a minimum of two years’ experience in injection molding. Must perform all tool changes and machine setup within the cell including robot setup, line setup and start-up of machines. Will perform checks on presses and tooling at the beginning of each shift. Responsible for troubleshooting and processing of injection molding machinery and sub-equipment. Must maintain a clean and safe working environment. Must be willing to work any shift and overtime. Knowledge of robotics beneficial.

JOB FUNCTION:
Supports new programs by developing new processes, working with tool shops on designing tooling and machinery, and ensuring satisfactory operation of new equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Develops tooling and assists with processes, methods, fixtures, and production controls for new programs; as well as assists with their assembly and error proofing confirmation during development.
• Assists in the set up of new tooling, check fixtures, and supports secondary equipment, to ensure its satisfactory operation, and instructs others in use of new equipment properly.
• Stays informed concerning new manufacturing technology and equipment.
• Negotiates costs and lead time with tool shops for design changes as needed.
• Attends trials for new tools, issues findings from trials, and oversees any necessary corrections.
• Assists in development of molds and process trials, including utilization of mold flow, to achieve targeted quality and cycle time expectations.
• Investigates problems on tools and fixtures, issues countermeasure reports / summary, and follow up to confirm corrected.
• Communicates with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors and tool shops when necessary
• Assists with review of parts/ components for design concerns / and confirming standard dimensions.
• Issues internal and customer related documents supporting new models development.
• Issues data transfers to Tool shops related to quotes for new tooling and changes.
• Assists with creation of CAD data when needed for changes with parts / components as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists in preparation of materials for meetings and may present this information
• Attends departmental and interdepartmental meetings
• Maintains part files related to new model programs following
• All other functions deemed necessary by supervisor
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE:
• Two-year engineering degree and three years experience in plastic manufacturing or 5+ years of experience working with development of tooling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Satisfactory work record, including attendance
• Working knowledge of computer systems (Strong in Excel, Word, Power point, CAD – Catia preferred.
• Has initiative and able to work effectively with little direction and/or few guidelines
• Willingness to work overtime during the week and weekends when necessary
• Willingness to travel on a daily basis (when required) and up to two weeks at a time
• Some overseas travel may be required
